Our Illness Policy

Our Illness Policy

As Wolfhouse is an environment that facilitates canine socialisation, there is always a risk of contagious illnesses spreading through our community. We take all suspect cases of any illness very seriously and all events are treated separately and reviewed per individual. However we apply this policy consistently to all illnesses on campus.

Please do not bring your dog to campus if you notice any symptoms or suspect your dog may be suffering an illness.

If our team identifies any behaviours that could relate or directly display symptoms of a contagious illness your dog will be isolated on campus and you will be contacted to collect your dog at your earliest convenience.

Unfortunately as we have already planned for your attendance and incurred the cost of your enrolment's required resources, you will not be compensated for collecting your dog early.

Wolfhouse is not at fault for the general contraction of contagious illnesses of any dog attending campus and is not responsible for any costs incurred from any illness believed to have been contracted as a result of enrolling your dog with Wolfhouse.

Please continue to isolate your dog from campus and other dogs outside of the family for 14 days after the last symptom is resolved.

Some illnesses may require veterinarian clearance prior to admission to your next enrolment. This is up to the discretion of our team.

Although we do have a natural, rustic environment, please note that Wolfhouse uses unique state of the art cleaning technology approved by our Veterinary partners commonly used in Healthcare, Aged/Childcare, Hospitality, Commercial Food & Beverage Processing and Commercial Janitorial and Laundry Industries. It is not the standard cleaners used traditionally in kennels and other animal keeping environments. This aligns with our commitment to the Wolfhouse mission and vision. Also to be one of the clear and undisputed leaders of our industry.
