This week Anuk and Tuuq take you through what an average morning is like for the 2 Team Huskies.
So this week Tuuq and I are going to share with you a little bit of what life is like here at this awesome place Dad and Mum have built for me. They insist that it isn’t just for me, but we know the truth. I mean they took me to the snow this has to be just another….
Dude again with this. We are here to tell all our friends what a morning is like here. Seriously, you give him 15 seconds and it takes 3 to make it about him, anyway. Here is what a day is like at Wolfhouse! Mum and Dad clarified what this place is called for me, since I get to speak to y’all!
So we are up early. Like ridiculously, still way dark early, early even for Huskies! The only benefit is that it’s cold. Mum and Dad grab us and throw us in the car, that’s this moving, mini house thing. Dad seems to be the one who controls it, or maybe Mum does verbally. Mum’s talking to him all the time about what to do. Not sure if Dad enjoys it.
I sleep in the car. It’s stupidly early for anything but of course Tuuq’s awake. The dog, literally, sits up and looks out the window, like he’s Mum and Dad. Can’t see what all the fuss is about. Maybe he gets treats for it. We stop moving and Dad grabs us and takes us for a walk for our secret dog business, whilst Mum is busy getting things from the car. Then Tuuq and I get taken into this weird box called an elefator? – not sure I have gotten that right…
You mean the magic box!!! OTHER DOGS!!! HUMANS!! Seriously, prepare to have your mind blown! So we walk through these doors that OPEN FOR US, yeah, fly hey. Then the doors close and the magic happens. Some wizard, who we would be wise not to anger, casts the magic, some humming and clicking happens. Doors open. WOLFHOUSE!!! No seriously! Haven’t met the wizard yet. I’ll meet him, one day.
Now we are here we get to stretch our legs. Mum and Dad take us through the campus and let us go in the big area. We are pretty pumped up by this stage. Tuuq and I are so excited so we run, full fur flying, all around, over the big tree mountain, through all the tunnels, crash into the big cushion tent. Then Tuuq and I have a bit of fun for a while, usually involving plenty of teeth. I win though, always, at everything.
Ha you wish Anuk! The only thing he wins at is… actually there’s nothing he wins at. After I’m finished dealing out some brotherly love on Anuk, Mum rewards me by introducing me to a new friend! Her name is Daisy,
she’s pretty cool. SOOO LOUD but. Daisy informs me she is a West Highland Terrier! Haven’t met anyone from West Highland before. She has a really nice and playful vibe about her, we are going to have some fun today! Mum goes through the same things she does with any new friends who are hear with us for the first time, so she gets a good feel for Daisy too. I help tell mum what Daisy is like. I always get treats for this. Treats, AND I get to meet a new friend, the best!
So after Tuuq has finished meeting Daisy they both get to check out another area whilst I get to chill. Not for long though, then Ollie is here! He is a Maremma cross. He’s a quiet guy who was a bit scared on his first day. But mum spent heaps of time with him, showing him that it’s pretty fun here and now he loves it. Soon we are all playing together, checking out some crazy new smells on the pole, hunting for treats in the creek, racing Ollie with Tuuq. Ollie is pretty fast ‘cause of his massive legs. He takes 2 steps to my 4!!
He’s not faster than me though. Still the champ, ha ha! Daisy is here to learn some new stuff. Mum taught us ages ago, but Daisy is really young so she is showing her too! She is learning about the click and how that means good and FOOD, she’s learning how to sit, how to lie down. I mean she knows how to do that already, she’s just learning what the humans call sit and lie down. Daisy and Ollie are great friends now, they are both really young, a bit younger than me so they spend ages playing together. Anuk and I are still a bit tired from the early start so Dad pulls us into another area for food and a quick nap. It’s a long day for us here and it’s not even over yet!!
Join the Husky Bros next week for what they got up to in the afternoon!
