COBM1: Co-Op BMOD Foundations Certificate

The goal of this certificate is to introduce the fundamental skills that all pups working on behaviour modification should be extremely confident with. These skills not only provide the dogs with a necessary canine educational foundation, but gives you the family the confidence and ability to set your pup up for success. Completion of this certificate is required for participation in more advanced Co-Op Behaviour Modification Certificates.

COBM2: Co-Op BMOD Counter Conditioning, Movements & Thresholds Certificate

Want a chill dog in any situation when other dogs are about, but not in contact? This is it. The goal of this certificate is to set key framework to manage, maintain and modify your dog's behaviour into the desired outcome and cement in these desired behaviours. Utilising the skills you've already achieved in the foundations certificate, this next certificate creates real world applicable skills for you and your dog in a variety of scenarios. Graduation from this certificate is required for participation in more advanced Co-Op Behaviour Modification Certificates.
- Establishes confidence and desired behaviours in both handler and dog, in a variety of trigger heavy scenarios with varying levels of frequency and intensity.
- Thorough theory and practical use of counter conditioning methods with increased criteria in varying indoor and outdoor real world environments.
- Increasing complexity of triggering movements in close proximity but not in contact to ensure the handler and dog is proofed for unexpected situations.
- Reduction in sensitivity of unknown dog approaching from behind and other vulnerable or high anxiety triggering scenarios.
- Elimination of reactivity, discomfort or other undesirable behaviours from unknown dogs approaching or being in close proximity (outside of 1.5m).
- Final goal is achieving comfort and displaying desired behaviours with any dog, regardless of the scenario outside of close proximity (1.5m).
